Spicy beans dish, chili con carne

I had some tomato paste left over, so I made it. It’s delicious both over rice and with salad.

Ingredients (For 2 serving)

  • Rajima beans (use your favorite beans) 100g
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1/3 carrot
  • 1/4 celery
  • Tomato paste 200g
  • appropriate amount of Cumin powder
  • Appropriate amount of salt and pepper
  • Vegetable broth(powder) 2-3g
  • A few drops Tabasco a few drops

How to make

  1. Soak the beans in water overnight and boil until cooked.
  2. Cut onions, celery and carrots into cubes and chop garlic.
  3. Put the garlic in a pan with olive oil, and when the scent comes out, add the onions. When it becomes soft, add other vegetables and salt and pepper.
  4. Add beans, tomato paste, vegetable broth, salt and pepper, tabasco, and cumin powder and boil for 10 to 20 minutes.
  5. Taste and season with salt and pepper.

Point

  • Not only cumin powder but also cumin seeds will make it delicious.
