Foods that cool your body! Yamagata’s Dashi for Summer

This is a perfect summer dish using condiments. This is basically used as a sauce.

Ingredients

  • 4 okra
  • 1 cucumber
  • 3 myoga
  • 1/3 green onion
  • 1/2 eggplant

How to make

  1. Cut each ingredient into small cubes.
  2. Mix it all together.

Point

  • Usually it is added dashi broth, but it’s good enough with soy sauce.
  • It is also good with shiso leaves!
  • Pour it over chilled tofu, or mix it with natto and pour it over rice, the way you use it is up to you!
  • All the vegetables are raw, so please consume them as soon as possible.
