Japanese Mythology KOJIKI -5-
Yasogami(八十神) “Why does she choose him? I can’t believe it. I just want that guy gone!”
They invited him to play catch the boar.
But the real purpose is to killed by rolling heated stone off from mountain top.
The Bullied God passed away.
His Mother was hearing this story, she asked higher God to bring him back to life.
Higher God took pity on him, brought him back to life.
When the Yasogami(八十神) heard that he had come back to life, so they invite him to play a game of go through the trees and kill him between the tree.
He passed away again.
His mother resurrected him again and told him to go to a certain god. The god is the god of the house.
Yasogami(八十神) followed him there.
So, the god of house tells him to go where Susanoo is.
Remember that Susanoo is their ancestor? He is malevolent god.
The god who being bullied went to the place where Susanoo is and find a very pretty woman.
She is Susanoo’s daughter.
“Hi”
”Hi”
They fell in love each other in a moment.
The god who being bullied “I’d like to meet Susanoo”
Daughter “That’s easy! Follow me!”
They are heading to her house.
Daughter“Hey dad, I met a nice person! He wants to meet you.”
Susanoo“Alright”
Susanoo met the guy.
Susanoo” Welcome. Stay the night. Hey,show him the room” He said to his daughter.
Daughter“Sure dad.”
Daughter”Follow me!”
When they reached the front of the room, she said
”Please hold this cloth. if something happens, shake this.”
Bullied God “What does it mean? But Thank you. I’m not sure the detail, though,”
The night, lots of snakes appeared in the room.
He shake the cloth, snakes gone.
Susanoo “Did you sleep well?”
Bullied God “Yes, it was a nice room.”
Susanoo “Huh, well, Do you want to stay over tonight?”
Bullied God “Yes, thank you!”
Susanoo “Alright, Show him the room today.” He said to his daughter.
When they reached the front of today’s room, she said
”Please hold this cloth. if something happens, shake this.”
Bullied God “Again? “
Daughter “Yeah, my father is kind of crazy…”
That night centipedes and Bees come out of the room and shook the cloth as he did yesterday.
Susanoo “How was the room yesterday?”
Bullied God “It was very nice”
Susanoo “Way to go! I like you! Let’s play a game in the garden together!”
They went to garden.
Susanoo “I’m going to shoot a arrow with a bow. You find it and bring it to me. Go! Now!”
The Bullied God hurriedly ran in the direction where Susanoo would throw his arrows.
As Bullied God waited for a moment, Susanoo released a flaming arrow and instantly he was surrounded by fire.
Bullied God “Oh my gosh! What a man! What should I do!”
Suddenly, a rat appeared.
Rat “There is a hole here. get in. it looks small, but It’s big inside.”
He tapped the hole with foot and the hole widened allowing him to hide himself.
In addition, the rat brought an arrow that had finished burning.
Bullied God “You bring it for me!? I appreciate that!”
He went to Susanoo place.
Bullied God “I’m back”
Susanoo “Well done! Hmm, Buy the way, My head has been itching lately, can you get rid of the lice?”
When the bullied god looked his head, he saw many centipedes, not lice.
Then Susanoo’s daughter quietly offered bullied god nuts and soil.
While Susanoo turned his back, the bullied god chewed nuts and spat out soil.
It pretended to be eating centipedes.
Susanoo was sleeping.
When bullied god realized he was asleep, he tied Susanoo’s long hair to the pillars around him hurriedly.
Bullied God and Susanoo’s daughter intend to use this opportunity to escape.
Next time, episode will start with them running away from Susanoo.
