Sweet miso goes well with plump texture konjac!

Konjac is also called the devil’s tongue. It’s a very popular food in japan and is also used as a diet food. The texture is plump, you can changes to various tastes depending on the seasoning. This time, I would like to introduce sweet miso.

ECO Point
Don’t you leave the water running when you wash the dishes? Water is an important natural resource. Let’s use washtub. You can save 1/9 of the amount of water If you use dishwasher.

Ingredients(For 1 serving)

  • A piece of Konjac
  • 2 tablespoons of miso
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 3 tbsp of Mirin
  • 1 tablespoon of cooking sake
  • 2 knobs of Salt (if you are worried about the smell of Konjac)

How to make

  1. If you are concerned about the smell of konjac, rub the salt into konjac. After rubbing the salt, wash the konjac with water.
  2. Stick a bamboo skewer on konjac. After sticking the bamboo skewers, cut between the bamboo skewers.
  3. Boil the konjac in boiling water.
  4. For miso, mix all the seasonings and cook until thickened. Please be careful not to burn it.
  5. When the konjac is boiled, serve it on a plate and put miso.
