Fluffy Okonomiyaki is a Japanese-style pancake

Okonomi means “whatever you like”. As the name suggests, put in whatever you like and have fun.

ECO point
When cutting vegetables, you can cut the calyx thinly, cut the hard parts into shaving-cut, and use the skin to increase the amount to eat and reduce garbage. Depending on the vegetables, the nutrition can be multiplied by drying the skin!

Using seasonal vegetables also reduces the energy used by producers. For example, in the case of tomatoes, the amount of energy required to grow in summer and winter is 10 times different.

It’s a very small thing, but it will be a big achievement if each person has a heart.

Ingredients (For 1 serving)

  • Flour 50g
  • Water 50 ml
  • Japanese or chinese yam 50g
  • Cabbage 1/4
  • Vegetable broth (powder) 4-5g
  • Deep fried dough as needed
  • Mayonnaise (Vegan is eggless mayonnaise) asneeded
  • Japanese vegetable sweet sauce as needed
  • Green laver as needed

How to make

  1. Cut the cabbage into long strips and grate the yam.
  2. Mix flour and water, add all the ingredients, vegetables, and deep fried dough.
  3. Stir to add air to scoop up from there, place in an oiled pan, turn over on medium heat for 3 minutes, turn over and cover and bake for 4-5 minutes.
  4. Turn it over again and bake for about 3 minutes, then put sauce, green laver and mayonnaise to your liking.

Point

If you can get a yam, you should use it. There is a difference between using and not using. If you don’t use it, it will have stiff texture, but if you use it, it will have a fluffy and light texture.
