Let’s make taco rice using tofu instead of meat!

Ingredients (For 2 serving)

  • Rice for 2 people

    [Tofu tomato sauce]
  • One Tofu
  • Okara powder 20g (Not Okara but powder)
  • 1/4 onion
  • 1-2 tbsp of ketchup
  • 1 tbsp of Worcestershire sauce
  • Tomato paste 50 ml
  • 1 tsp of sugar
  • A little salt
  • Pepper a little

    [Fresh salsa]
  • 10 cherry tomatoes
  • 1/4 onion
  • Coriander as much as you like
  • A few drops of Tabasco
  • A little salt
  • A little lemon juice

    [Guacamole]
  • 1 avocado
  • A little lemon juice
  • A little salt and pepper

How to make

[Tofu tomato sauce]

  1. Drain the tofu for about 3 hours.
  2. Finely chop the onions and stir-fry in olive oil.
  3. When the onions are cooked, add the tofu, Okara powder and seasonings, then mix.

[Fresh salsa]
Cut cherry tomatoes into quarters, chop onions and coriander and mix with seasonings.

[Guacamole]
Crush the avocado into a paste, add lemon juice, salt and pepper

[Finishing]
Serve rice with Tofu tomato sauce, fresh salsa, and guacamole.

  • If you drain the tofu well, it will not become watery.
