Easy, delicious vegan fried rice that is fluffy, non sticky

Don’t you leave the water running when you wash the dishes? Water is an important natural resource. Let’s use washtub. You can save 1/9 of the amount of water If you use dishwasher.

Ingredients

  • Cooked rice for one serving
  • Leek or green onion
  • 3cm piece fresh ginger
  • One egg (Not for vegan)
  • Your favorite vegetables like Edamame
  • A little salt and pepper
  • Soy sauce (1−2tsp)

How to make

<Preparation>

  • For green onions, cut the green part into round slices and chop the white part into small pieces.
  • Grate ginger.
  1. Put olive oil, grated ginger and green part of green onions in a pan on law heat to make green onion oil.
  2. Wash rice using a strainer, and drain. By doing this, it will be non sticky fried rice.
  3. When the aroma of green onions comes out from pan, turn it to high heat, add the beaten egg and stir.
  4. Add washed rice while the egg is half-boiled.
  5. Add salt and pepper, white part of green onions, your favorite ingredients such as edamame.
  6. Gonna finish stir-frying to drizzle some soy sauce from the edge of pan to inside of it, setout them on plate.

  • I recommended to use cold or frozen rice to make non sticky fried rice.
  • Ginger eliminates the smell of oil, so you don’t need to add a lot.
  • The scent of green onions is different between the green part and the white part. It is recommended to use the green part when making green onion oil, as green onions become more fragrant when heated.
